The Dark Apprentice is in the style of a small beer made from the second runnings of our Imperial Stout. But it still came out at 5% ABV. It is an ale but we lager conditioned it. Another unique, clean, and refreshing dark ale to add to the 8-Bit Collection!

0,33l bottle from K-Supermarket Lasihytti. BBE 14.11.2020. Clear very dark brown beer with medium but quickly vanishing head. Aroma has lot of dark malts, some sugar, lactose and ashes. Flavor has malts, coffee, ashes and bitter notes. Light+ body. Decent, one of the better ones from the brewery.

(Bottle, 1.0 l - hand bottled, from the brewery, 20190612) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, ash, grass, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A nice dry and burnt brew.
