Shared by Shane at the December P.S. tasting, 12/16/23. Hazy pink, thin head, average retention. Aroma of tart cherry, earth, lemon, funk. Taste is sweet and sour cherry, pale malt. Simple, dry.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours translucent/hazy red/orange with a transient off-white head. Aroma of tart fruit with wood notes. Med body or so. Flavor is cherries and wood with some definite tartness and acidity. About 10% of BFM barrel sour flavor in terms of killer bite. It's quite clean. Seems a bit closer to sour red/brown than kriek, but maybe that's just me. Good flavors. It's a sipper, not a gulper. Oh for some of that nice Chimay cheese.
