A dark brown beer, a head is medium and light beige. Aroma has strong spicyness, ginger, herbs, hard to find anything else. Taste has spicyness, ginger, clove. Medum- bodied. Too much of spices.

Smell of spices, pepper, gingerbread. Muddy brown colour, brown head. Aroma of gingerbread, hops, herbs, some malt in finish. Too gingerbread-y. Bitter. Flat carbon. Dry palate.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Kvarken Winter Barter ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, spicy, allspice - clove - nutmeg. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, spices, allspices - clove - nutmeg, there is a cake spice maybe cinnamon, light spicy bitter. IMO: a bit to over spices - will prefee more malt and alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180707] 6-3-6-3-11

33 cl bottle. BBE 15.06.2018. Aroma has strong spicy tones. Clove and pepper. Flavour has peppery spices, clove and some ash. These spicy beers are just not my thing.

Bottled at PBF XII. Dark brown, mid sized head. Distinct aroma of nutmeg and cloves. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toasty with cinnamon and cloves, notes of coffee and orange. Low bitterness. Pleasant, if perhaps heavily spiced.

Bottle at the Tallinn Anti-Crap Beer Festival. Clear dark brown color. Wow big spice aroma, cinnamon, licorice. Taste has some roast, more spice.

Sample from the bottle at TCBW, Tallinn. Color is clear brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Pepper, dryness, spices and malts. Too peppery for me.

33cl bottle. Thx oh6gdx. Poured dark brown color with a thin white head. Star anise, lots of cinnamon in aroma. Spicy, xmasy. Cinnamon dominates, anise, cardamon. Light body. Really like the spicyness here.

Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Strong star anise, licorice aroma. Light-bodied. Cinnamon, star anise, toasted flavours. Quite watery but nice clean Christmas beer.
