Our collaboration with Bedrock Wine Co. is the marriage of vinous and sour flavors in a big bold Flanders-style red. Aged with 2000 lbs of Mourvedre grape skins, the resulting beer has notes of ripe berries, caramel, and tart plums. Pinkies up, this beer's fancy.

On tap at Drake's Dealership, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly acidic, with some wine barrel notes, a little acetone, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is very tart and acidic, with lots of wine barrels, moderate acidity, and a hint of wild yeast. Acidic and vinous, but without the depth to go with it. Not too convincing.

500 ml c&c from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear dark and ruddy with a slight, transient biege head. Aroma is very Flanderian - tart, winy, malty. Med body. Flavor is tart and winy - very red berry with malt that is quite helpful. Rather dark malt. Mildly acidic. Quite dry. A lot of fruit. It's better than some actual Flanderians IHMO.
