When the lights go out, it’s time to load up the shotgun. Pile up the rations and put on the good ol’ tinfoil hat. Or just enjoy this mixture of malts and worry not.

33cl bottle. Bbe 22.11.2018. Poured pretty much pitch black with a thin brown head. Milky chocolate nose, some coffee and roasted malts. Thin bodied, milky sweetness, chocolate and roasty notes. Pleasant to drink. Short finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch #152 - BB 22-11-18, from a supermarket, 20171202) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A decent thin porter. Bit unbalanced.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. BBE 06.05.2017. Colour is clear dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, some nuts, milk? dryness and roasted malts. I dont like light porters but this one is pretty good for this ABV. Watery naturally.

A colablack beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has great chocolate, some roastiness of coffee and sweetness. Taste has caramelly sweetness, coffee, some roastiness and chocolate. Naturally, the body is too light but the sweetness is balancing a little bit. Succesfully mild porter, the aroma is great.
