Tap at Olhops, Valencia. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, nougat, nuts, chocolate. Taste is dark malt, nougat, chocolate, coffee, licorice, whiskey. Warming alcohol. Nice one.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, diminishing, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty and piney, hoppy aroma, notes of dark caramel, hints of burnt caramel, whiffs of alcohol, a touch of plum wine. Taste is sweet and bitter, caramel and dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, toffee, a touch of honey, plum wine. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Homogeneous, creamy, manageable complexity - decent.

Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, licorice and coffee. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 180322
