Can, small bubbly head, opaque very dark brown colour, aroma dark bread, barnyard, some umami and just a hint of chocolate, flavor of molasses, toffee, hint of dark soy, and a bit of bread, some fruitiness coming through, quite sweet but not too heavy. Really intriguing and highly enjoyable.

Tap at Karavella Sörbár, Pécs, Hungary. Pours practically black, with fine brown foam. Aroma is coffee, brown sugar. Body is fairly dense, with average carbonation. Quite pungent, almost astringent. Taste is pretty bitter, not only roasty, also hoppy. Final is average.

330ml can. Jet black colour with huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Cautious but emphatic, insistent, roasty and minimally bready-grainy, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, coffee surrogate, grey bread. Taste is considerably more meaty, sweet-ish, roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, moderately bitter hoppy, notes of coffee, chocolate, dark caramel, a touch of white coffee, hazelnut infused white coffee. Full-bodied, heavy foamy, creamy texture, smooth and soft, cremay, slightly cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. Relatively cautious aroma with striking omission of malt flavours, solid taste - some potential given away.
