Fruity, bitter hops, berry, mango, peach; a wonderful interplay between the earthy bitterness, the nuanced fruity berry character, and the piney funky tropical depth. The resinous character of the hops shows through in a tongue-coating mouth feel. You’ll really feel saturated by all the hops. Delicious.

Burk.

Canadian DIPA, can from a Systembolaget in southern Stockholm. Intricately 'Brugse kant'-like lacing, snow white, medium thick, moussy, stable head, misty warm yolk-yellow blonde robe with peachy tinge. Aroma of green onions, raw shallots, a dash of yellow curry, granadilla, lime peel, gin, overripe papaja, moist cigarettes, green olives, peppercorns. Fruity onset with notes of papaja and pomelo, starfruit, sweet and sourish, softish carbonation, thick fluffy mouthfeel, oily, sweet maltiness but quickly overcome by a firm, juicy, very citrusy, pink peppercorn-like, spicy hoppiness, barbecue spices and grapefruit, very long and 'powdery' in the end with a tropical note somewhere - yet at the same time, the actual bitterness remains relatively gentle. Outspoken, gin-like alcohol ensues, a bit too much even for this style. Otherwise, however, this is a fine, modern, aromatic, juicy and hazy, NEIPA-influenced interpretation of one of the boldest styles generated by the American craft beer movement, an update of the classic, harsh West Coast DIPA so to speak. Very clever beer, if a bit too boozy for me.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium amber under a small tight off white head that lingers and leaves some sparse lace. Nose is Tropical fruit, pine, stone fruit, light berry, toffee, orange peel. Flavour follows with a light+ toffee and fruit sweetness leading to a big bitterness with contributions from the citrus, pine and mango. MNouth is medium+ and smooth with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Alcohol is well integrated. Greta balance. 9/3+/8+/4/17

Nice cloudy orange golden color with a fine white head. Looks nice and inviting. Fin hop profile in the aroma. Yummi. Pleasant carbonation level, easy to drink. Citrus hoppy, tropical fruity and pine in the flavor. Tasty stuff.
