Bottled@PBF XII. Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, toasted, earthy and some toffeeish notes. Flavour is toasted, toffeeish, some coffee and wood. Coffeeish aftertaste.

Bière 33 cl reçue je pense dans un calendrier de l'Avent. Bière noire épaisse, nez café torréfié et réglisse. Bouche torréfiée, cannelle, café et caramel, vanille, lactose. Elle semble bien plus forte que ses 4.5°, il y a de la matière et du pep's. Je ne retrouve pas vraiment le speculoos par contre, mais ça reste très sympa.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As WhiteFrontier Spectaculoos Sweet Stout ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, milk chocolate - lactose. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180707] 6-3-6-3-13

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, rapidly diminishing, beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly roasty and nutty, dark malty aroma, hints of wavers, cookies, roasted nuts, Kahlúa, some liquorice. Taste is slightly dry and bitter, roasty dark malty, minimally sweet and spicy, hints of coffee, roasted nuts, wavers, a distracting touch of cinnamon and ginger; some liquorice in the finish. Slightly unbalanced - I'd prefer the roasty dark malty part in coffee direction without the spicy speculoos adjunct.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 27 July. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery and coffeelike notes. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and chocolate, with lactic and roasty notes and touches of hops and yeast. Estery and and malty aftertaste with notes of roast. A nice one.

27/7/2018. Bottle shared at John's. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, berries, liquorice, coffee, spice and light herb. Medium to heavy sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee and hops. Sweet finish and soft carbonation.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Black with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. 270718

Black, small beige head. Roasted aroma, coffee, dark chocolate. Bittersweet flavour, roasted malt and coffee. Rather light and has a faint hint of something sour in the finish.

Bottled at PBF XII. Near black, small head. Aroma of tar and treacle. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, licorice and treacle. Mid bitter finish.
