Opaque colour, small brown head. Strong roasted, coffeish and carrot cake aroma. Full-bodied. Very complex imperial stout with many layers: roasted backbone, light bourbon, cinnamon and cardamon. Sweet but not too sweet, has roast to back up. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Niels. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of cinnamon, caramel, ginger, carrots, dark chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla. Taste is super cakey, lots of cinnamon, ginger, carrot-like notes, bitter dark chocolate, vanilla, oak in the back.

On tap at Bishops arms, Karlstad. Extremely powerful carrot cake smell. Exactly like it. Taste was also very carrot cake. Cashew flavour too.

At a tasting, smallish creamy bubbly head, opaque black color, aroma of cake and cinamon, , strong cake flavor with some nuttiness,hint of sourness, a bit unpleasant bitterness. Drinkable but not too interesting, trying unsuccessfully to be over the top.

Bottle from Tidens Farver. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and indeed heavy carrot cake. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 120619
