Bottle 375ml. @ home. [ As Nerdbrewing Extends Oak Aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout - Carrot Cake Ed. ].Dark dark brown black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is light heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate, chocolate - vanilla, cake - carrot cake, spicy, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long long duration, spciy, chocolate, alcohol, cake - carrot cake, cinnamon, cardemom, ginher, vanilla and some lacto. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. IMO. the lacto did not make the beer better ! but anyway it was nice :0) [20180906] 8-4-9-4-16

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty carrot cake aroma. Roasted malty woody vanilla chocolate carrot cake flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate carrot cake finish.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours black, nose is basically carrot cake - spiced, oak, chocolate, taste is chewy, caramel, chocolate, roasted, spiced.

Bottle @ Home. Pours pitch with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, spice, cinnamon, ginger, carrot cake, wood, little bourbon. Flavor is sweet, heavily spiced, rich malty, caramel, chocolate, rich spicy, cinnamon, cardamon, ginger, vanilla, little wood, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet and heavy spiced finish, some warming alcohol. Smooth and oily, but way to spicy for my liking.231217

330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of carrot cake, chocolate, mudcake, toffee, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and oak. Taste is sweetish, oaky and roasty with some toffee, mudcake, cinnamon, ginger, wood, vanilla and chocolate. Finish is sweetish and roasty with some licorice, syrup, chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, oak, carrot and earthy notes. Quite spicy and complex. Interesting.

Bottle bought @ Kihoskh. Viscous black pour with a small dark mocha head. Roasted malts, allspice & cinnamon in the nose. Chocolate & coffee. Sweet, bitter, malty, roasty & spicy taste. Chocolate carrot cake really. Light vanilla oak. Viscous, creamy & oily mouthfeel. Tasty stuff. Not everyone pulls off this level of spice without ruining the beer.
