Borefts 2017 special. Jan & Charlotte was also brewed to be the 50.000 entry in RateBeer of Jan (and Charlotte is his wife) And this was his review :) [ As my rating # 50000 on ratebeer ]. 3.8 - Murky light to medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly laasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, wood, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, toasted, minerals, pine, wood, grapefruit, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily carbonation is soft. High Five & Still Great Fun

Bottled at PBF XII. Cloudy dark brown, rich lively head. Rich aroma of papaya and mango. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready with papaya and grapefruit. Long bitter finish.

33cl bottle @ PBF XII. Cheers Fonefan. Poured dark brown color with a thick off white head. Tropical juicy hops, hops and caramel. Sweet, hoppy, fruity and juicy. Solid brew.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with a thin off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruits, subtle chocolate and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and lightly toasted notes. A B-IPA to the IPA side....

Bottle@Valby Tasting (many thanks to Jan & Charlotte) - dark hazy brown pour with beige head. Medium roasted malty and hoppy with some notes of cocoa and caramel, oaty notes, some fruity notes of grapefruit coming through, some brown sugar, medium body, hoppy and malty finish.

Cloudy dark brown color, light beige head with good retenton some lacing. Aroma is hoppy with light roasted notes and molasses. Flavor with a decent bitterness, hoppy notes above roasty ones, light coffee. Bittery final, some roasty mouthfeel.
