Draught@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is chocolate, some roast, mild smoked and spiced notes with some liquorice and alcohol. Flavour is smoked, some tar notes, mild leather, floral and grassy hops along with some roasted malts. Easy to drink, and each sip makes you want more.

Tap @ Ølfest 2021. Smell of roasted malt, lactose, ash. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk, ash, tar in finish. Very heavy body. Lively carbon. Bitter. Soft palate, intense flavours. Very good.

Draught @ [ CBH2018 ] - Craft Beer Helsinki 2018, Rautatientori (Railway Square), Helsinki, Finland 00100. [ As UG Euphemos 100C SOS ].Unclear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, oat, wood, light chocolate, light smoked. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, oat, dark malt, roasted, malt bitter, plum - dark dried fruit, light smoked. Keg at Craft Beer Helsinki. Hazy dark brown, small head. Caramelly nose with with distinct smoke. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and smoked ham. Mid bitter finish. Rich and pleasant.

Tap @ cbh 2018. Dark brown colored beer. Off white head. Getting some plum, warmth, sweetness, caramel and gentle smoke in flavor. Smooth mouthfeel, gentle. Nice drinkability. Cheers Vesa!

Tap at Naamat. Dsrk brown colour, nice beige head and lace. Toasted, odd Fernet Branca aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, some liquer, tartness lurking, sweetness. Somehow past its prime.

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20180425) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, spiciness, caramel and lightly smoke. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, caramel, chocolate, spiciness, smoke and bitterness. Aftertaste had molasses, burnt malts and bitterness. A rather pleasant brew despite the fact that there were a lot of competing flavours and scents.

Draught @ Konttori, Tampere. Pours pitch black with a thick and large foamy brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, chocolate, hints of smoked wood and ash. Taste is smooth, lightly smoky and roasty with loads of oatmeal, some hints of licorice, syrup, wood and chocolate. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some oatmeal, hints of licorice, wood, oak and smoke. Interesting, smooth but quite complex and balanced. Congrats to BTR!

Draught @ Ukkometso. Aroma has nice smoky vibes and heavy-ish malty sweetness. Also licorice and peaty tones. Flavour has licorice, peat, some smoky tones and hints of ash. Also tar licorice candy (tervaleijona.) Lingering tar-like sweetness in the aftertaste. Delicious, yet easy to drink. Cheers, Euphemos!

Tap at Kultainen Apina, Tampere. Color is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Grain, bread, some distant hints of smoke, chocolate and roasted malts. Gently smoked easy beer with quite good drinkability.
