16 oz can poured, picked up at City Beer, San Francisco, and brought home to share, but damnit the can says drink fresh, so I guess I gotta open it while I have the chance! Pours a glowing golden orange, plenty of rocky foam head, and a haze. Not the appearance I was exactly expecting from a dank, west coast advertised brew, but I dont judge. Smooth flavor, quite a bit less aggressive as I'd expect. As much as this brew falls outside of expectations, it is delicious. Amazing nonetheless. Juicy orange background. Tangy flavor that balances nicely with a citrus hop. Lots of refreshment. A bit zesty. Solid brew here. Officially on the radar for breweries to visit after just one brew.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is very strong and arguably beyond dank. Hops? Yes, but I can’t parse them. Med body. Flavor is dank and quite herbal. Pretty dry. Very hoppy. Decently bitter. I’m suspecting South African hops. Good strong flavor.

Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a dank hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.
