Tap at the brewpub. Pours very brown with orange glints and a tan head. Med body or so. Flavor is malty, lightly, very lightly, smoky. Not a lot of hop. Not very dry, but not sweet/malty. Seems to have a wood/tree/bark note. Pleasant malty drink.

On Tap (Nitro) Nutty light toasted aroma with the classic earthy peaty flavors . Lighter of course, as this is supposedly a "Session Scotch" Still, nice classic flavors, just easier. The nitro smooths it out nicely.
