Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dark malt and dark fruits. Lactose? Full bodied. Flavor of treacle, darker fruits, lactose and perhap a bit of coffee or chocolate? Something else I can't quite identify. Heat not an issue. Very good flavor. Excellent stout.

On tap at Belmont Station, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out cocoa, lactose, light vanilla and moderate toasted malt. Flavour is very sweet, with cloying sweetness, lactose, cocoa and earthy malt. Too sweet and lacking balance. It's okay.

500 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a medium to small brown head. A big sweet roast and vanilla nose. Sweet milk chocolate, vanilla, light roast, some ash. Very good stout. Smooth, big. Great.
