Our wort is soured with five strains of natural, probiotic bacteria that produce pleasantly tart levels of lactic acid. Once the baseline sourness is established, we take the wort through a normal fermentation just like any other beer, and condition this particular one on passion fruit, orange and guava puree, and then condition on vanilla beans.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours very hazy orange tinged gold with a white head. Aroma is sort of a tropical ice cream bar thing. Med body. It’s mildly tart. Vanilla is strong. Tropicals are present but overpowered by the vanilla. Decent sour.
