Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
Tap at the Cascade Barrel House. Pours translucent copper with a whitehead. Aroma is sour/alcoholic/berry. Med body or nearly. Flavor is very unusual - tart/astringent/wood/berry. Also something familiar that escapes me. Orange zest? Pretty mellow sour. I’m thinking it’s complex too. A bit of a puzzle for me. Late breaking news from the beer list - Meyer lemon zest.
