Shout out to Ryan Brown Art for sharing the comic world of God Hates Astronauts with us. Very far out. Beer Hates, the skimped name we toss around the brewery, is big, beautiful, 7.8% abv SMaSH beer that emphasizes the hardstyle lock-up of Vienna malt & our selected Citra. Ripe apricots & red berry hard candies float on a measured toast and heft. Though we’ve pushed around the brewing & fermentation program on this beer, its bare bones hammer has been around for 10 years or so. Half Acre Beer Hates Astronauts is right on time for those with an extra day added to your weekend.

16 ounce can. 7.5% ABV. Amber gold pour. Small bubbly beige head. Sharp fruity malt nose. Sweet bready malt with lots of tropical fruit. Tangerine, lemon and mango. Soft carbonation. Warming alcohol. Juicy and flavorful.

Can shared in London / big thanks to the Duke. Pours clear orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. The nose has some pale bread, a little husk, citrus rind, orange, faint pine. Medium sweet flavour with more pale read base, ripening citrus fruits, rindy and subtly fruity bitterness. Memory bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, with some orange, rindy bitterness, relaxed oune. Good. Solid.

1 pint can. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is grapefruity and slight hops. Bitte, solid grapefruity. Light sweet. Bitter and solid hoppy finish.

16 oz can poured, with much thanks to Tcon for the cancan. Awesome! Owe you for this one. Slight hazy shiny golden pour with a rocky foam head. Aroma is full of orange peel and citrus. Very nice. Candied orange flavor, mixed citrus, low bitter, very refreshing. Full of flavor and drinks easy. Wow!

Bottle thanks to Nathan. Pours a clear gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit, mango and tangerine, resin. Medium mouth, dank, pine, mango, grapefruit, juicy, lingering resin finish, very nice.
