We humbly offer you Feral One on the occasion of our fifth anniversary. Each year awards us the joy of finding hidden gems buried amongst the stacks and columns of oak barrels. The beer blended for Feral One comes from barrels that strike a different note, open a chord and add a certain dissidence of Belgian character. An earthy, funky nose gives way to complex ester notes of dried apricots, apples, guava and slight orange zest. Toasted mature oak, lavender, vanilla and cinnamon lurk in the background. A mouth-watering acidity and soft tannins are punctuated by a firm carbonation. Savor now, or age longer for a special occasion. Santé!

Light amber colour, hazy. Vibrant Sour beer, strong acidity, with delicious fruity notes, stone fruit, sour gtapes, white wine, barrels, mildly buttery like a Chardonnay, full bodied but with an astringent finish.
Excellent.

On tap at The Ginger Man - Boston, pours a clear dull bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of oak upfront, followed by wild yeast and a touch of tart citrus. Flavour is quite tart and acidic, with lots of oak, some nice wild yeast character and tart citrus. Quite ascorbic, with a rather aggressive stomach-churning acidity. Not one of FW's best sours, but still quite good.

375 c&c from the Venice venue. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma of apple and guava with a hint of sour. Med body or so. Flavor is very nicely mild sour mixed fruits with some wood aspects. It is a very approachable sour. Just barely acidic/astringent. Excellent.
