Bottle. Black beer with a brown head. Bourbon and dark fruit aroma. Bourbon and red fruit flavor with light chocolate. Medium-plus bgodied. Bourbon and red fruit linger with light chocolate and light caramel. Lightly, but not badly infected.

Bottle from Bottle N’ Bins in Monterey. Pours dark brown with a foamy, bubbly dark tan head. Aroma is very chocolate with some bourbon notes. Med + body. Not very thick. Flavor is very dark malt, some chocolate and bourbon. Far from dry, but not sticky. There’s heat, but not in a strong way. Maybe it’s not all that far from dry. Get’s earthy and dryish with some time. Finally getting a wood note. Interesting how it changes in the mouth. Those who like IS should try it. Will they like it? A mystery within an enigma.
