32oz crowler, courtesy of Owen(!), pours with a glowing opaque gold copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up cantaloupe, mango and then citrus fruit and peel notes. The taste begins soft and pillowy as oat floated notes of mango, cantaloupe and guava transition into more tangy to modestly bitter citrus like hops. I get growing tangerine, tangelo and peach. Nice! The oat remains at just noticeable levels flavor-wise but does provide a pleasing soft mouth feel. Solid tangy version of the style.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours like hazy orange juice with a frothy white head. Aroma is very mixed hop - tropical, citrus, a little pale stone fruit. Med + body, at least. Flavor starts mostly Freestone peach, but there’s citrus, melon and tropicals. Not entirely dry; fairly juicy; moderately bitter. This could be enjoyed with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very tasty. Excellent or better.
