Double Dry Hopped Double IPA aux houblons Mosaic, Galaxy et Cashmere.

Nous avions depuis un certain temps le projet de revisiter notre série d'empereurs. C'est simple, nous avons littéralement doublé la quantité de houblons utilisés habituellement d'où la mention Double Dry Hopped (DDH).
Le résultat est hyper aromatique sur des notes de sorbet aux fruits exotiques, de fruit de la passion et d’agrumes. La texture est riche avec une finale sèche et bien saturée en houblons.

0,473l can from Hoptimaal webstore. Canned 17/07/25. Murky yellow beer with quite small head. Aroma and flavor is ripe fruits, herbal notes, sweet twist and some piney flavor. Slight bitterness at the end.

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, biscuity, pale and oaty malty as well as citrusy and tropical fruity, minimally floral, hoppy aroma, notes of orange, mango, some melon, slightly perfumed hints of lemon, a touch of lychee. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy and tropical fruity, minimally floral hoppy, sweet-ish, wheaty and oaty, slightly biscuity, pale malty basis, notes of mango, mandarine, orange, honeydew melon, some lemon, watermelon, lychee, grapefruit, alcoholic interludes, mild, zesty bitterness. Surprisingly watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, superbly balanced, good levels of bitterness nd sweetness, dangerously drinkable - excellent!

Sweetish, herbal hoppy and piney with some grassy notes, hints of grapefruit, citrus and bitterness.

Hoppy, fruity, a bit sweet. Tropical fruit, mango, stone fruit, smooth, softly bitter. Very nice.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home 02/06/2024 Medley of tropical and citrus fruit delivered, a mix of pink grapefruit, papaya, tangerine, citrus rinds, touch of passion fruit, sweet malty backing, touch of mosaic induced blueberry chiming into the balanced bitter hoppy finish. Very nice.

Pale yellow colour, murky. The aroma is ruity, citrus peel, moderately dank. Nice body, thanks to the residual sweetness too; creamy oats; the hopping is excellent, starting with citrus peel, orange juice, some dankness, hint of tropical.
Aggressive, excellent.

16oz @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: murky blonde with a white head. Aroma: dank, juicy, some herbs, flowers, and even a bit of pine. Taste: along the same lines, VERY dank, quite thick, moderately sweet, finishes with low to moderate bitterness. Overall: good one.

Poured from 473mL can (canned 31/08/2022; thanks Derek & JF). Cloudy yellow with small white head. Lightly juicy tropical and citrus hops with light dankness and feint resin. Really nice balance. Great stuff.

A hazed milky yellow orange DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, dank notes, pine needles, tropical fruit, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, light peated notes, pine needles, light green hops, very nice. On tap at brewery.
