Hazy golden colour with an amber hue. The head is huge, frothy white, very long lasting with some great foamy lacing. Citrus aromas with lemon zest and orange juice. Hints of tropical fruits. The mouthfeel is juicy with a slow building average dryness. The taste shows again some tropical notes of mango, papaya with some well-blended herbal hops. Very smooth for an Imperial IPA with well-balanced hops, fruitiness and juiciness.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large size foamy head with good retention and good amount of lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some tropical notes and juicy undertones. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some juicy hops undertones with some light residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Solid DDH NEIPA with great juicy hoppy notes.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque orange-gold with a decent white head that fades slowly leaving good lace. Aroma of intense mango juice and sweet orange, dashes of melon, round almost estery banana richness, leafy slightly dank hop cones. Flavour is moderately sweet, again nice mango juice with sweet browned and caramelized bananas, pulpy sugared oranges, some smooth melon, touches of white grape, round fruity yeast, brioche malt in the background, warmth from the alcohol more present than a typical BdBC DIPA, finish is off-dry with that mango/banana/orange sweetness, some melon for balance and light leafy methol-like tones that are 'green' but not excessively so, soft bitterness. Medium-bodied, soft to moderate carbonation, a bit creamy, boozy warmth. Really nice stuff here, a big but not overbearing DIPA from BdBC where the atypical prominence of alcohol doesn't distract from the drinkability.
