Can, small stable thick bubbly head, beautifull dark brown color, aroma of caramel, dark bread and vanila, same traits in flavor with some nuttiness, light bitterness, mellow sweetness. Very nicely balanced and great fun to drink.

Can from Morrisons Supermarket, Blackburn. Black-brown with a small off-white head. Has plenty of nose with excellent caramel notes backed up with some complimenting chocolate in taste. Fuller-bodied but not too dense drinking with a lower than expected sweetness, although there's certainly some available. Its ice cream character is very evident in its lingering aftertaste.

4/XI/20 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 24/VIII/21, canned: 24/VIII/20 (2020-1027)
Clear dark brown to almost black beer, big aery to creamy off-white to light beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, hint of vanilla, milk chocolate, lactose. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft sweetness, caramel, roasted malts, some vanilla, milk chocolate, slightly sourish, malty touch. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, pretty dry, lots of dark burned caramel, lactose, some caramel and chocolate sauce, pretty hoppy bitter finish, not getting any salt from the salted caramel? A bit thin and watery, would like to try a 14% ABV iteration of this beer. ;-)
Paired with a pumpkin pie with caramelised pecans.

Can from Geers. Cloudy black, thick, frothy, beige head. Aroma of salted caramel indeed, ice cream, mocha, peanut, milk chocolate, toasted brown bread, shortbread. Taste has sweet chocolate, mocha & tangible caramel but never cloying with a nutty edge, soft bitter toast & coffee roast; ending earthy hoppy, slightly bitter, lingering caramelized nuts & coffee. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. 'Palpable' in taste but the aroma hits harder.
