Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, deep dark brown. Dense and creamy, fully lacing, beige head. Nose has burnt caramel. Bonfire toffee. Chocolate ice cream. Taste is pretty sweet, with a light, burnt toffee bitterness. Decent body for the ABV. Carbonation is livelier that you might expect. Finish has more of the burnt toffee. Ok. The salted bit isn’t noticeable.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2018. Black beer lasting tan head. Salted caramel aroma. I was worried it might be a bit milky but it's not too bad. Salty and caramel no doubt. Some milk from base beer. Quite soft on the carbonation. OK but a bit too lactose for me.

Cask at GBBF. It pours dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, savoury, salted caramel, liquorice, umami, toffee, chocolate ice cream and rocky road. The taste is dry, bitter, salted caramel, spicy, peppery, umami, liquorice, tannin, cocoa and some saltiness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good balance. Not too sweet.
