Bottle at home while watching the wedding. A very simple and very fun English pale ale. I had chilled it right down and it slipped down a treat. No real nose, some malt and well balanced bitter hops. Very drinkable.

Tried in a bar overlooking a beach in Bude, Cornwall. Golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma citrus and floral. Taste is just a bit bland, light and easy to drink.

7th Nov 2016: cask pint at The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Poured a clear light gold, thin white topping. Slight citrusy leanings in both the nose and taste, floral notes too, subtle all round and not really my thing. Scored objectively.

Bottle from Tesco. Deep gold in colour, with a thin, white, head and moderate carbonation. LIght, malty, aroma with a touch of citrus hop. Flavour was sweetish, with ripe cereals, a touch of stone fruit and moderately bitter finish. Fine.
