Cask at the Woodmans Rest, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is light citrus hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light watery citrus fruit, light woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. A fine fruity session ale.

Cask at the Lyndhurst, Reading. Golden-amber with a moderate white head. Honey and caramel malt are more to the fore than the hops, which do still add some orange and tropical fruits. It’s well balanced and easy to drink and probably the best beer I’ve had from this brewer (not that it’s up against any strong competition). A decent enough bitter in fact, but not overly memorable.

(Cask at Black Door, 20141021) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and hint of malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy golden ale.
