500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 22. Thanks Mark for this. Clear deep amber, good off-white head. Quite flavoursome this, nice warming caramel, earthy fruitiness.. nuts could be more distinct but it has a nice glowing balanced sweet character.

Cask at the Greyhound, with Barbara, Peter and Mariska, 18th March 22. Pours deep dark brown, quite full bodied. Aroma is nutty, malts, caramel. Taste is rich and full, bitter, caramel and nutty, roasted malts. Nice

Cask: Poured a burgundy brown with a tan colored frothy head. Aroma is nutty, malty, roasted. Taste is rich malty, nutty, light butter.

Cask at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and slight sweet. medium body.

Half pint from a cask. Pours opaque brown with a small light brown head. Aroma is toffee, nuts, wood. Taste is medium sweet, nuts, toffee. Light bitter finish.

5/4/2019. Cask at the Rebellion brewery shop, Marlow Bottom. Pours dark amber bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, roasted malt, dried fruit and nuts. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium body, oilybtexture, soft carbonation. Nice bittersweet toffee finish. Best of the four they had on cask.

From keg at Heidrun, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with Colin, OGJ and EE 07.01.19. Cloudy mahogany. Diminishing dark brown head. Roasted nuts, medium dark malt. A bit waterish.heidru

Cask @ Horse & Groom. Medium brown pour with small ring of head, streaky lacing. Nutty aroma and taste, very dry. Mild sweetness and bitterness.
