Cask on the bar at the Prince of Wales BF, Farnborough, 16/10/21. Dark mahogany brown with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is dark malts, charr, cocoa powder, toffee crisp. Taste comprises fruit slice, hint of coffee, cocoa powder, mellow roast, dried fruit rinds, ashen tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid cask porter.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma is creamy, chocolatey, with a dark berry edge. Murky. Dark brown. Pond water. Light-medium bitter, dark chocolate and coffee. With underlying creamy sweet chocolate. Sour berry edge. All well balanced. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable Porter.
