Keg at Trekkers, Chesham, Bucks. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, grapefruit aroma, tastes similar but quite bitter too with a hint of caramel. Decent black IPA despite that bitterness.

Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma packs in a whole lotta rye. It's bready with underlying citrus hints. Opaque dark chestnut brown. Thick foamy beige head. Light-medium medium citrus sourness. Spicy rye edge throughout, more obvious into the finish. Not as much as the aroma suggested but no complaints. Light bodied. Thin. Benefits from lively soft-fizzy carbonation. A not particularly bitter BIPA that is complimented by the rye. Having said no complaints, admittedly I'd have liked the rye loaf that the aroma promised.

Can at home, given to me by Andy at Elusive, thanks Andy! I love a BIPA. Pours black and a white head. Aroma is dark malts, soy, cocoa. Taste is fresh, cocoa, citrus, bitter grapefruit pith, cocoa dusty. Pretty bitter and tasty BIPA
