A collaborative twist on a traditional Extra special bitter brewed with our good friends at Drop Project Brew.
Starting with rich burnt sugar, malty backbone & classic east Kent goldings hops for aroma and a bitter bite. Reminiscent of toffee apples with a sweet mouth feel. The Volcano cold coffee brew blend giving it a minerality & chocolate bar aftertaste.

Can ordered from Water Into Beer, Brockley. Aroma has dark coffee over rich malts. Pond water light brown. Massive thick foamy off-white head. Medium sour berries. Bitter coffee edge. Underlying hints of sweet malts. Light-medium bodied. Thin but lifted by soft-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Enjoyable 'fun' stuff. Guess it's an update of the Hale coffee ESB I had a while back.
