A luscious Stout featuring hazelnut, cocoa nibs and vanilla. Come on guys... let's hug it out, if only metaphorically.

2022 version @ 5% Collar & spotty beige cover on a mahogany coloured body. As the label - hazelnut & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, super smooth with a sticky back. Chocolate, hazelnut, berries & malt tastes with a tangy finish. Lush.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 14/03/21. Black with a good sized tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, vanilla essence, chocolate, nutty tones, icing sugar. Taste comprises chocolate sauce, hint of peach, praline, vanilla, brown sugars, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough flavoursome stout but runs a little too sweet for my palate.

Can at home picked up from CW online. A dark nutty brown coloured pour with a lasting frothy light tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty praline, vanilla, oily hazelnut, strawberry jam, dried cocoa. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily chocolate, jammy fruit, vanilla ssweetness, creamy praline, bitter chocolate finish. Palate is rounded, bit oily, creamy, moderate carbonation. Good a little adjunct heavy for me.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma ticks the boxes - hazelnut, cheap chocolate and creamy vanilla. Darkest brown. Glossy. Microbubble foam beige head. It doesn't last. Light-medium bitter. Underlying touch of sweetness. Umami. Choc and nuts, yeah. The vanilla is more restrained. After the initial bitterness the sweetnes becomes more prominent. Sour berry edge throughout. Medium bodied. Thick. Creamy. Sticky. Average carbonation. Long finish. Decent stuff. A sweeter stout and it's the hazelnut that the star.
