Look out for our new beer 'Ambling Home', an amber ale made with Maris Otter pale malt, crystal malt and lager malt and Willamette hops. It has a lovely amber-red colour and unique flavour.

Bottle ordered from Inn At Home, Newbury. Relatively low key aroma - sweet caramel, citrus and room freshener. Opaque amber. Foamy thinning white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. But with a sherbert citrus sour edge. Underlying quinine. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's fine if eventually one noted as the bitterness dominates. But at least it's not boring.
