Cherry Sour

Cupid is a Kettle Sour thatchers been infused with multiple cherry additions. The cherries add waves of fruitiness to this lightly soured beer, without overly increasing residual sweetness. Give it a go. And let us know what you think - we hope you'll fall in love with it.

Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Pithy cherry aroma with low key sweetness and funk. Ruby red. Thin white head recedes to the rim. Medium sour. Obvious cherry but as promised it's not particularly sweet. If anything it's a tad medicinal. Medium bodied. Slick. A touch oily. Lazy fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. This just doesn't do it for me. There's some sourness. Some cherry. But all somewhat muted and lacks tartness, sweetness, character. And like I mentioned before it's ultimately kinda medicinal, if cherry flavoured to hide the taste.
