Our take on the Classic West Coast IPA. Clean, crisp, piney and resinous. A big whack of hop bitterness, combine with a dry finish to make this a go-to beer for the hot summer months.

Can from Cobbett's, Dorking. Sweet stonefruit aroma with an almost caramel sugary note to it. Clear copper gold so they have failed on the hazy front. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Quinine, pine and resin. Certainly not the light bitter the can references. Vague stonefruit sweetness under there somewhere. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. The can stated Juicy Hoppy Piney. The latter is present but there's no refinement here. Oldschool twiggy brewer which has been attempting to modernise but this falls short.

Can from Beers Of Europe. The can has a dent in it. The beer hasn't leaked but there is a leak from another beer on top of it. Appearance - amber, quite orangey in fact. Big white head. Nose - pine, peach and grapefruit. Taste - pine, plant stalks grapefruit and grapefruit pith. Palate - light bodied. Dry middle and bitter finish. Overall - for a hot day, this would be the business.
