Brewed in collaboration with the lovely Zapato brewery, this hybrid IPA takes it right back to the late 00’s. Very much in the West Coast style, but fermented with Bastogne yeast to spice things up.

Can ordered from Ghost Whale, Putney. Aroma of spiced grass and pine with a yeasty streak. Copper gold. Clear. Frothy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Tart stone fruit and quinine. Hints of spice. Underlying burnt caramel and malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick if on the thin side. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Doesn't quite do it for me. Overly quinine, ends up almost medicinal.
