Keg at the brewpub. Nil aroma... some stray malts? Dark amber-brown. Thin creamy off-white head. Light bitter with a sweet edge. Gains a rich malty chocolate streak with a touch of pepper. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Prickly average carbonation. Astringent finish. Nice enough but a tad sickly. They advertise it as an Amber but for me this is a sweet Brown.
