Keg at Mad Squirrel Amersham, 11/01/20. Clear chestnut brown with an off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel biscuit, orange peel, straw, toffee, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises light pine needle, dusty hops, caramel, grass, fruit esters, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow leafy hop bitterness. Decent for a brown.

Keg at the mad Squirrel tap Amersham. A clear golden coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is mellow bready grains, some buttered bread, straw some lemon rind. Flavour is composed of bland pale malts, faint lemon rind. So so. Palate is semi sweet, mellow carbonation, little grainy ok.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Sweet caramel aroma with a floral herby streak. Medium brown. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Light-medium bitter. Sour edge. Herby hoppiness. The odd shimmer of sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Nice enough.
