A balanced Pale Ale from a recipe of quality simple malts and two fine hop varieties. Straw in colour, the flavours are of delicate green tea honeydew melon and light stone fruit. A little too easy to drink!

Bottle from the brewery's stall at Winchester market. Malty aroma with fruit and resin. Gold. Thick creamy white head. Light bitter with a sour edge. Underlying malty buzz. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. It's OK but overall it's somewhat bland.
