Tap at St Mary’s Axe, Craft co, 1st October 19. Pours a chestnut brown, aroma is caramel and dark fruit. Taste is sweet, caramel, dark fruit, sugary. It’s OK, but not a great attempt.

Keg at Brewdog tower hill. A clear amber brown coloured pour with a loose of beige head. Aroma is sweet. Nutty toasted malts, homebrew quality, gingerbread, some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky rustic malts, Rye and brandy snap sugars, ginger bread. Palate is flat and sticky, low carbonation. Meh. Not bad, just low quality.

Keg at BD Tower Hill. Floral malty aroma. Light chestnut. Creamy off-white head. Sweet burnt caramel and malts. Some low key sourness in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick with some stickiness. Flat carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough but too sweet to be sessionable. Suspect it's a basic example of the style but still not bad
