Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a two finger khaki foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light lace stuck to the glass
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate; some earthiness, coffee roast and subtle woody spices
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to roasty and very light bitterness; finishes semi-sweet and slightly roasty
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; light smoothness along the tongue; light roasty astringency on the tongue
Overall: who knew a Belgian brewer could brew an American styled porter but then again 2SP from Philly helped them too, so there's that. I'd have this again.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is slightly earthy chocolate, but there’s a milk chocolate aspect as well. Med body or a bit less. Thinnish. Flavor is dark chocolate, earthy, maybe a coffee note, but certainly smooth dark malt. Dry. Chocolate bitter. Hop? I’m stuck on the other flavors. Tasty thing. Not the usual porter.
