Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy orange brown with a beige head. Aroma of brown sugar/malt. Mixed fruits. Med body. Flavor seems slightly oxidized (a thing I like). Sort of kandi sugar and fruity barley wine. Clearly not dry, but there’s bitterness. Flavors might be a bit stronger, but if you like this sort of ale, it’s good stuff. Note: It’s "old", but it’s been in a dark frig since I got it. Just found it!

22oz bomber pours with a clear amber colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts, some molasses, a bit of pine hops and grassiness and then some malt roastiness. The taste delivers modest pine hops and resiny grassiness amid malts and molasses. To midway the pine hops blend with mild citrus and faint spicy black licorice. Nice hop forward brew with loads of depth.

Draught @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has sweet raisins and malty tones. Also some ripe fruits. Flavour has gluey tones, bready malt and toffee. Finishes with menthol tones and lingering hops. Feels a bit like some oak aged La Trappe Quads.
