Apricot, oak and beer make for the best barrel-fellows. Our brown sour beer ages for months on fruit until the mellow acidity, oak spice and fermentation character coalesce into a deliciously higher state of being.

On draught at Novare Res during the "Beer Meets Wood Pre-ThrowDown" on 09/22/2017. Hazy brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart apricot, oak, yeast and bready malt. The finish is tarty and oaky with an apricot aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at beer meets wood last weekend. Lightly hazy peachy color with a thin white head. Lots of apricot fruitiness on the nose and flavor with bits of sour earthy and light funk to round it out. Very nice beer.
