Apricot, oak and beer make for the best barrel-fellows. Our brown sour beer ages for months on fruit until the mellow acidity, oak spice and fermentation character coalesce into a deliciously higher state of being.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: opaque yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: apricot sweet and tart levels, some funky/farmhouse tones, subtle grassy to lemony tones and woody vibes
Flavor: leads with the tart to sour to funky and lemony vibes; finishes lemony with the apricots and funk
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper, some tart to sour assertiveness to the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done American sour ale I could return to.

Semi-clear golden color with small short-lived head, medium body with strong carbonation. Aroma of tart apricot, funk and oak. Very dry sour taste of apricot, yeast, and oak, with lingering funk at the end. Enjoyable.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Murky golden yellow with a decent off white covering. Nose is pissy citric shreds, funk, musty fruits, cactus, apricot tang. Taste carries a big funky bite, green berry must, on the turn apricot jam, damp wood, grains, pissy lemon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic rise. A really solid offering for a sour on cask !

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Hazy gold beer, no head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Tart white wine and mild lemony sourness. Pinch of sherbet. Light finish. Any apricot is lost on me but it's a nice beer.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2018. It pours cloudy bright golden with a few bubbles on top. The aroma is musty, tart, loads of sour apricot, bright, peach, persimmon, nectarine, oak, vanilla, sweaty, musty, barnyard and some kitty litter. The taste is dry, tart, bright, punchy acidity, enamel ripper, sherbet, plenty of sour apricot, persimmon, musty, funky, oak, wet hay and grass with a drying and bracing finish. Medium body and fine carbonation carbonation. If anything too much acidity, but I like what's going on.
