Crowler from the tap room. Pours very dark copper with a tan had. Aroma of slightly roasty caramel/treacle with some mild herbaceous/grassy hop. Med body or so. Flavor is roasty caramel with some spicy/herbaceous/grassy hop. It’s not all that sweet, but sweet, and the hop is arguably strong enough to get this towards balance. With each sip/quaff the spice seems to get stronger, and the caramel seems to get maltier. Working for me.
