Breathe deep: Integral IPA is all about big, complex aromas, coaxed from some of your favorite new school American hops. A refined, dry body serves as the golden-hued canvas for layers of hop character – think overripe pineapple, guava, and melon. You can thank Hopzooka and hop-bursting for that. The Hopzooka is our secret weapon - a patented piece of machinery created by Port City's head brewer that allows us to add hops to our beer without exposing it to oxygen.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a hazy orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma had a lot of floral notes. Light sweetness. Light citrus, juicy notes. Interesting. Okay, but not my favorite offering from them, but pleasant and easy to drink. Light tropical fruit finish.

I’m the first rater. WAT? An honor to be the first to rate a bottled release from a Virginia brewery from this former Virginia Ratebeerian. 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy orange, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, papaya, mango, earth, pale malt. The taste is grapefruit, papaya, mango, vanilla, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Nice.
