Sample at the Asheville brewery. Clear pale golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle: Clear, brassy-gold with a tall, fluffy, white head. Grapefruit, pine, pineapple aroma. Taste is sweet pineapple, orange malt, caramel malt. Finishes with a nice, resiny, citrus-peel bitter. Juicy.....very nice.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Clear golden amber, large frothy white head, decent retention. Aroma of piney, dank hops and pale malt. The taste is melon, pine, citrus, pale malt. Thin-medium bodied, crisp. Solid.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma of lots of fruits. Makes me think of the Juicy Fruit chewing gum, sort of. Med body. Flavor is very orange, but without the citrus/tart aspect. And mixed tropicals. This is fruity stuff. Pretty dry. There’s nice caramel support, but it doesn’t lend any sweet maltiness. And it’s decently, tho only moderately, bitter. It’s a very nice drink. I could easily deal with a bomber of this.
