Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Can 35.5 cl - Batch 200624011T (BBF 27 JUN 2021). AROMA: medium hop aroma with slight grapefruit and pine notes. medium malt background, neutral and slightly sweet. low alcohol background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. medium white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor with pine notes and slight citrus (grapefruit). faint cereal husk note. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an IPA starting to show aging issues.

Fairly juicy with moderate tropical fruits, resin, and a lingering bitterness, all over a mildly sweet hay malt. The bitterness lingers. Decent balance on an ok beer.

Bottle at a Beermalade virtual tasting. Quite thin, watery feeling, med-high carbonation. Slightly unpleasantly basementy yeasty, but only minor flaw. Hops centered, med-high bitterness, citrusy, resiny hops character. Easy drinking, but somewhat empty.
