BBT november/ 2023. Murky brown with almost no head. Aroma of peat, dark malt, light chocolate. Taste is chocolate, peat, vanilla, warming and bittering alcohol. Medium bodied for this amount of alcohol.

Dark brown color with low beige head. Aroma: caramel, chocolate, cocoa bean, vanilla, licorice. Taste: chocolate, nougat, vanilla, bacon, high viscosity, cinnamon, warming alcohol. Full bodied, low carbonation, moderate bitterness. Dessert, sipper.

Bottle at BBT 11/2023 #2. Drinking this on 28.11.2023. The carbonation if it ever was present, already disappeared, despite the cork being massive. But these beers are not about carbonation. Full body, lots of sweetness, medium bitterness, high warmth, which is a bit aggressively boozy too. Med-high peat smoke, lots of dried fruits, light chocolate. Medium boubony booziness. Overall interesting, good, but not great. Few points detracted also for cloudy appearance and rather low sippability.

Bottle at BBT 12/2023 #2. Malty aroma and taste, dark malts, light roastyness, peat, whisky notes, light to medium sweet, medium bitter. Full body, malty peaty bitter sweet finish with warming alcohol notes. Ok.

Cork-top bottle, 0.50l, shared with colleagues. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey and smoke. Pours clear dark brown color without any head and flat visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, following is peaty, smoky and dried fruity with whiskey note, while mouthfeel is warm and spicy. Full body, thick texture and flat carbonation in palate. Spirit killer…
